Ultramarathon training carries cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and environmental risks. Suffercraft does not provide medical care. We are not your doctor. Cardiac events, overuse injuries, heat illness, hyponatremia, hypothermia, and acute trauma are documented risks of the sport. By accepting this waiver you confirm you have consulted a physician about ultradistance training, or you accept responsibility for that decision.
Disclose anything material: prior orthopedic surgery, prior cardiac events, eating disorders current or past, current medications, pregnancy. Plans for athletes with prior injuries are reviewed by the head coach before publication. Concealment voids the coaching relationship.
You are the executive of your training. The plan is a recommendation. If a workout feels wrong, modify it and tell your coach. The plan has not failed if you skip a workout. The plan has failed if you hide that you skipped it.
